XJ LS1 swap

I own a 2001 xj with a 2004 Ls1 engine from a holden commodore everything is in its place the swap is 100% successful except for one last thing : the engine security system we have tried to turn the engine on but it just won't crank is there anyway that I can bypass this system or somehow delete it ?? [emoji53]

Are you trying to start the LS1 using the stock XJ key, or the embedded chip key from the Commodore?? I would say if you are trying to use the stock XJ key, that is your issue, and would need to take the coded key, and tape it up near the immobilizer sensor from the Commodore, so that it think the proper key is being used...

Your gonna have to have your ECU re-flashed to turn off the security feature.
