So I have some lights I am planning on adding to my 91 XJ, some off the sides and to the rear and maybe some day rock lights. I am pondering ideas for switch placement. One Idea I have is to use the panel that is to the right of the main cluster. My question is has anyone used this location before? Also I have already filled the other switch bays with my locker, and OBA switches, I have my front bumper LEDs on a foot dimmer switch which I find very handy!

a buddy of mines XJ was just an empty cover I guess what I need to do is fine some decent micro type switches to put in that little panel, I'm using solid state relays so switch ratings are of little concern.

Been wishing the 97+ had panels to the side of the cluster like the 96- had.. Found a few options other then using that panel..

I like that, did you make the panels? I don't need that many switches but that is a clean setup.

I converted that blank panel to be my second switch panel. Although I probably put more into it than needed it works very well. But there's not a ton of room behind it so no really long switches.

Unfortunately I have a late model, so my switch panel pics wont help you much.
But if you want some other options, check out PRIME 4x4 (http://www.prime4x4.com/shop/Switch-And-Control-Panels.htm)
They have some cool stuff for you to buy, or that might give you some of your own ideas.

Always glad to see someone else's take on switch placement, and what they come up with.
