I stumbled across ya'll on youtube, not knowing much from the transfer case to the front drive shaft I definitely need all the experienced help I can get. I'm doing 'charity work' on my bro inlaw's Cherokee, he's broke and has a 5yo so I definitely want to get it right and know he's driving a safe vehicle! I won't list all the problems so far, toooooo many, if he'd have asked me to inspect it before he bought it I would've said 'Absolutely Not'. Just a sample, the rear brake line was SPRAYING, so he had no brakes at all, but still drove, just dumped a quart of brake fluid in it every two days! Not anymore!

No, he doesn't know anything about a vehicle. I let him change the oil n filter, he didn't know to put oil on the o-ring so he just got the filter tight enough so it won't leak! Oh Crap! I'm in trouble now! He was driving around with the license plate light not on, that's an easy ticket around here, I got 90% of the lights back to legal. Replacing the headlights today, the old glass one piece bulbs. Ever seen one split right on the seal? Yes, 'globe' in one hand 'lens' in the other! Me neither! But the low beams still work!?!?!?!
