Hi everyone!

I got into jeeps by a 1997 xj! I moved out west and was in needed of a 4x4 with all the bad winters they get. My uncles at the time worked on jeeps at the dealer and was helping me look for a jeep. In the end it was a 1997 xj sport with a 2inch body lift and 32 inch copper tires! After about 2 years the computer was going on the jeep with wire problems all over the place. At the time money was going to beer and girls so jeep was in the back ground untill i had to trade the xj in for a 2012 2 door jk sport with a hard top and 23 inch wrangler tires than later upgraded to a JKU 2015 sport. I have seen my old xj pop up on the net every so often but at the time the money funs where low so now I am saving for the next time i see her again!

We have a couple of members local to you there in Calgary. You might want to look them up. JENSSEN and Pookapotamus. Dana has a really outstanding yellow XJ and Jenssen has more Jeeps than a wrecking yard

Ha thought so, it's a shame but yes the Calgary Jeep Association is dying, was the best club for years, started out as a strictly XJ club, unfortunately became a very clicky club that was not newb friendly and very political.

Try the jeep junkies, they are a newer club and very newbie friendly, tons of JK's and will not call you down for asking a newb question.

But by far Xj Talk is the best jeep site there is! I use this site for questions and learning and the junkies for local runs and classifieds.

Welcome! And find me on the local sites!
