I normally push the wiper button once and the rear wiper turn on. Then I push and hold the button and the wiper fluid comes out.

Today when I pushed the button to turn on the wiper arm both the arm and the fluid come out at the same time. So I'm not able to use the rear wiper without using all my fluid.

I think it might be the switch.

Thanks

Robert

I replaced the switch. It did not fix the problem. When I turn on the rear wiper the wiper moves and squirts out fluid at the same time.

Please help.

check the wires there can be 2 wires touching when the wiper arm is moving.

Where would the wires be touching? On the arm on the back, it doesn't have any wires sticking out?

Check in the glob of wires where they come from the body to the hatch. Generally that's the weak point.

So on the rear hatch, maybe take off that inside panel on the rear hatch and check?

Nope open up the hatch and look up on the top by the hinges. Up there you'll see a rubber boot with all the wires running out of the roof of the jeep and into the hatch.

OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO ok. So wiggle those wires in that area. Maybe an easy wiggle will fix that. Ok I see. Cool

So all I did was wiggle that wires behind that boot and it fixed the problem. I can see a wire that has a cooper wire showing. It's only showing by a sliver. I had a similar problem with my drivers side door and all the window switches.

Thanks again for an easy fix.
