Rear Window Washer Problem

Hey guys, I'm new to the forum, so please excuse me if this has been done before. Anyway, I just got a cherokee and I'm fixing up the little stuff before I do anything major to it. The rear window washer didn't spray onto the window, instead it just kinda dripped out of the handle. So I took it all apart and found out it was the part in the photo that had snapped. Just wondering if anyone knows what it's called or where I can get it. I'd rather not go to a junkyard, but if I have to I will.

This number is from 1998, and 1999 parts manuals,

... but I dont know if its relevant for your 2000.

Any junkyard ones are probably just as sunfrazzled as yours ... so maybe Mopar, RockAuto or TeamCherokee for new ones ??

Are you talking about this thingy? I'm on my third one. Now it works great for spraying the windshield of the car behind me.
In my opinion: too fragile and too much trouble for what it does.

Have seen lots of folks with that same part broken... Mine is actually amazingly good... For now..... Mine is broke @ the wiper end.. I'm just glad that I got the wiper working in the first place, now...

Thanks to all that replied! I getting one from the junkyard anyway. I tried waterweld on the old on, that didn't work so yeah, I went to the yard. On an unrelatedish note I also picked up a rear wiper motor, in case I ever needed one. Of course it didn't work properly when I tried it out later. :bang:

Appears that the diagram from the 2000 is about the same :

I did a search for model year 2000, and this is what came up.

You can also go to a Jeep Dealership and try and order the part. Many of these items are still available.
