Please say a prayer for my wife, she had a stroke last Thursday.
She is doing well, but is very frustrated with her limitations.
Good thoughts and encouragement are what she needs most
& I am getting better at cooking, she eats almost all of her meals now,
not so much at first. She said she was not hungry, but I tasted the food.
Poor thing, I wouldn't have been hungry either... sigh!
She really is doing well. Thanks guys!

Sorry to hear that Bob. Strokes are probably the worst kind of thing to happen to a person and their family. Prayers sent up on your behalf and your wife. Stay in touch.

You guys are awesome! Thank you!
She is doing better, I woke up to a dog barking outside my window today...
Went out to see what his problem was and here comes my wife on a solo walk around the block.
She does not accept any of her limitations and the dog,(She calls "Taco Bell") follows 10 feet behind her announcing her arrival... She making great improvement every day, she was lucky, she was on phone with boss when it started and she noticed she sounded drunk, got off call with boss and called me, I just told her to please hang up & call 911. she called Cigna Wellness nurse who called 911 for her. fast trip to hospital and the clot buster drug they now have may have saved her life and seriously reduced stroke impact. She only stayed 5 days in the hospital and other than cooking, takes care of all of her own daily needs. She is my Hero, such an amazingly strong woman!

After losing a wife to cancer in 2005,
I did not want this to go bad and God was very kind!
Well that and all the wonderful people I know!

We both send our love and gratitude to all of you!

Sorry Guys,
It's been a mad house, but Deb is doing fantastic!
She is back to work and already planning adventures for us to experience.
A word to the wise, if you know someone who has Diabetes, Hi Blood pressure, etc. make sure they
keep their doctor visits up, don't let them ignore their Meds. Strokes can be very debilitating and can be
avoided by most, with healthy life style choices and exercise! God saw fit to keep my wife with me with
just a warning. Don't treat those gifts lightly. I lost a wife to cancer in 2005, I know what that felt like.
I would do nearly anything to avoid it!
It is crushing to lose a loved one before their time, but it may be unavoidable.

Keep God in your heart and adore those around you as they are what make life wonderful!

You all are what I have always found in people.
True hearts and kindness!
God Bless you all and thank you for your support and kind words
while we went through it.
Shared hardship is reduced,
shared kindness redoubled!
I knew you Jeep guys would impress me, but I had no idea how much!
