Nice 2 door! Welcome!

Having 4WD means getting stuck in more inaccessible places!

Nice looking jeep Jerod! Two doors are just special, and that one looks clean. Once you get it running good, what's the plans for it?

I am looking to make it very dependable first...
I have to solve the overheating issue then
rear main seal
oil filter seal
valve cover gasket
and a tune up

after that I want to build it to be able to join a jeep club or meet up with some people around so cal and wheel it. Slowly upgrade suspension and ect.
I live 15 min or so from cleghorn and I have heard azusa is fun so just have fun with it,

That's smart. I went the other way, going for mods before I dealt with the need-to items. Your way works better, let me tell you!

Well I am not very mechanical so it has been a learning experience so far...
thermostat water pump top main coolant hose and reservoir and cap...
I actually got to drive it for about an hour today and never heated up!:D

I plan on lifting it bigger and locker and re gear eventually

You should have seen me when I got my XJ at 16. Couldn't even change the oil.... :rolleye0012:

No worries though, cause now you have us! We thrive on helping others, and there's none of that knocking on you for not knowing something. Sometimes people forget they weren't born geniuses.

Congrats on the cooling issue. Hope it continues to impress. :D
