Greetings everyone, My name's Nathan, though I can be known as Ataki on various forums. I'm on my second jeep, My first was a 95 YJ, and I have had this 96 XJ for almost a year now.

How it was when I first got it...

I found quite a few issues once I got it home, and I've slowly been working through them. First I replaced a knuckle, brake pads and calipers.
Then, I replaced the rear main seal, flexplate, and torque converter. (Previous owner had decided to tack-weld the converter to the flexplate to solve some issues)

And then, I got in my lift kit and tires!

The install was somewhat of a nightmare. Every bolt had to be cut, but it finally came together.
So here is how she sits currently.

That's about all so far, save for the B&M Supercooler I installed last weekend to hopefully solve some transmission puking issues.
Next, I think it will be time to address floorpan rust.
Anyways, I look forward to meeting everyone, and helping out where I can!

What happened to the YJ?

Thanks! I ended up selling the YJ to a buddy of mine. At the time, I just didn't have the funds I needed to fix it up properly, and I couldn't bear to see it just sitting on the side of my house. Looking back, I wish I kept it.

That looks like a pretty clean XJ from that outside at least.. and looks even better w/ the lift and beefier tires on there... What height lift and size tires you running on there now??

Thanks, The outside is pretty clean, The rust is all in the floorpans. Could always be worse though, I suppose. :D
The lift is 4" rear, 3" front. I have spacers for the front to level it out, but I sort of like the rake it has right now. The tires are 31x10.5x15 GY Duratracs.

Thanks, I'm glad to be here! I was planning to make it an expo-style vehicle, but that can always change. I'll probably just upgrade as I go, so there's no telling how it will end up. If my tranny issues are fixed, I'm leaning towards replacing the steering next. I need to do the floorpans, but since I live in an apartment right now, I have to wait until my buddy's driveway is clear of his projects first.

I hear ya. Sometimes I don't know what's next and it hits me.
