Im adding 4 -6" lights onto my roof basket this weekend. Any suggestions on wire routing to get it into the cab. Just looking for a clean method.

I asked the same question last year. I got a lot of good advice. Here's a link to the tread.

I ran mine through the light bar, very clean and water proof, but my bar is bolted directly to my roof and might not work for you. http://images.tapatalk-cdn.com/15/07/10/ef4ed859c7afdc4b3083d2dcc55239d3.jpg

I copied msmoorenburg and just ran the wires under the windshield trim then in the fender cowl gap into the engine bay. It worked fine for the light bar that is very close to the windshield but maybe worth a look on yours.

Mudd, the pre-97 xjs have a different seal setup. Fyi.
I ended up running it down the back of the a-pillar behind the door seal and into the back of the fender.

if you decide to drill a hole somewhere, I recommend the side of the vehicle and not the top. My son's XJ was a former police vehicle. It has two holes in the roof and two on the side in the rear near the lift gate. I have them all plugged but I worry more about the ones on the roof leaking than the ones on the side of the vehicle.
