Staggered into the living room with my coffee and vegemite toast this morning,

... flipped on the idiot box - to see what drivel our national broadcaster was spewing out,

... and it was a music show, of sorts .....


Kids in the USA,
French Kissing in the USA,
Born in the USA, .... :confused:

ohhh wait heres a good one ... Hotel California .. :cool:


Then I looked at todays date ....

.... ahhhhh of course .. :rolleyes: ... thats what going on .. :usa:


... but no Alabama songs .. :mad:


Stoopid TV channel ... I bet they also didnt play anything by The Band, Nelson Eddy or Captain Tractor on Canada Day .. :mad:

Ironic ??? ... yeah - ol Aunty ABC, aint what she used to be ... Not worth the 8cents a day, anymore .. ;);)

Mind you ... I'd rather hear foreign tunes anyday ... instead of that, sympthony of starving cats noise, that masquerades as our national anthem .. :rolleyes: .. :D:D
