Steering Column Help Needed

So, my 2001 cherokee was recently the subject of an attempted theft. It was unsuccessful due to the skim. I am replacing the entire column with a donor. The question is I cant find a column that has skim, I have the new factory skim to install but cannot find a column with skim. From what I have read it is possible to install skim on any cherokee from 99-01, Will the new donor column accept the skim unit since my jeep is already set up for it or will it not have the proper wiring? I have til monday-tuesday to pick a column and get it ordered. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

well, i went out in the rain and pulled the old one. The right wiring does stay in the car so it doesnt matter if the column i but has it or not since im putting in a factory one from the dealer. Im a little wet but have my answer. hopefully this will help someone in the future! time for a drink n watch the cavs beat up on gs. :beer::popcorn:
