Just mixed up a batch of homemade weed killer. I needed something safe for my blind dog to walk through since he likes to lick his feet.

1 Gallon Vinegar
1 Cup table salt
1 TSP liquid dish soap

We shall see how well it works ;)

Does anybody else have any homemade safe/organic/etc cleaners or anything they'd like to contribute?

I use to use my used oil. But now I know better. I use round up now. But My dog don't lick his feet. I have to do that for him.

I use roundup in the front yard where the dog doesn't traverse.

Most homemade "concoctions" I know how to make aren't safe and certainly can't be discussed here, I don't need the alphabet police showing up at my house. (hehehe)

I just recently started using salt and vinegar, myself. Works alright. Some weeds are more hardy than others and need a second application, 2 weeks after.
It's excellent on dandelions and smaller Scottish thistles.

For woody weeds, I mix up equal parts of round-up and diesel. Cut the weed, or unwanted tree, off close to the ground and brush the poison on.

LOL. Mine too. Ironically. But the dog and the kids complain when stepping on them. [emoji23]
