About every 2 years I need to recharge my A/C.

The compressor was replaced about 6 years ago. It was filled with a green neon dye that shows leaks.

On the back of the compressor is a bolt. This green dye leaks out edge of that bolt. I't not a huge leak but it's a slow seeeeeeep. I just refilled the system with 134A that also has stop leak in it. Not sure if that will fix the problem.

Does stop leak make the system get all yucky?

And how do I fix this bolt from leaking. It's all the way tight.

The air is cold but not freezing. I do need to keep it on 3 or 4 on the switch the keep us cold. Or on the max full car ac on the switch to keep us very cold.

Your thoughts.

I will try to get a picture.

I'm going to guess you found your leak. Second guess would be a bad seal in the compressor.

So how do I fix this, can I take the bolt out and wrap some plumbers tape around it and slip it back in.
