I am not getting a specific page with that link. More of a home page for tools

Is the torch air cooled? You will also need gas and a regulator

yes and I have about 2 3/4 regulators laying around lol. From what I see on YouTube I think it would work to learn on.

Have you used strike start Tigs before?

No, I confess I have not done that. I have welded most everything, but not with a TIG

Yeah I'm the same way I've welded just about anything u can think of with my stick, mig, and Oxy/acetylene rigs but been wanting to branch out and learn something new. Just don't want to spend an arm and leg doing it.

Same here. The main reason I would want one is welding aluminum. I do it now with a MIG and get decent results. But I would like to raise the bar with a TIG

I bought a Lincoln Precision Tig 225 thinking I would start "tigging" my roll cages and other things. The learning curve is stupid on this thing. I'll stick to my Miller mig, it has a spool gun for welding aluminum which I can do. The cheaper you can "learn" the better.

yeah that's what i was thinking. U can't weld aluminum with a sketch start but for less then $200 I'll try it if i dont like it no big deal.

I'm surprised you didn't get a response. I guess we don't have any TIG welders here.

I think he did two thread on accident, cause they were both the same first post.. so I went ahead and merged them where there were a few responses...

I know TIG is not something everyone does, mainly due to the expense of picking up a TIG machine setup... But we have a couple of people who I think could give him some pretty good help, or even help with some info they found during their research... Been thinking about once I start learning to MIG weld, picking up a spool welder setup for welding Aluminum.. but doubt I'd be using it all that often!!
