Factory Rear Tow Hook

I pulled this from a junk yard a few years ago. Doesn't work on mine since I have a rear tow hitch but ive never seen one again so I figured it was worth snagging. Was this some sort of option only on specific models? The XJ i pulled it from was a service vehicle for a resort. That's where I got my gas tank skid and my transfer case skid plates.

I haven't seen one yet, but that doesn't mean it wasn't an option

It was an included option with the off road package. Although like yours I don't think they work with the hitch and many got the hitch. I was actually just looking at a 1992 jeep brochure that noted the rear hook.

Must have been a pre 1997 thang. Mine was the Up Country package and no rear hook.
