the guys on this site who follow ammo know .22lr can be hard to find. I had to go to my local Wal Mart tonight at 6:10 pm for sour cream for the tacos we were having for supper. As I headed for the checkout, I ran into the associate who was taking the incoming ammo to sporting goods. I was able to pickup 2 1000 round boxes of WinchesterM22's. Not bad considering my store does not usually get ammo in on Sundays.

Lucky you. My Wal mart was one of the conspiracy stores they closed last month. I can't make my weekly ammo purchase now.

Our local wally only lets you buy 3 boxes at a crack which sucks. IF they even have it the people barely let you have it and look at you like a criminal. The fleet store down the road on the other hand, they will help you load the stuff if you ask.
