Michelle contacted me about a dash cam video I had shared with her, several actually over the years, but I think the hit and run peaked her interest.

I'm not sure how much they'll use of me in the interview, perhaps none. I'm pretty sure they'll use the video(s) though.

We did about a 15 minute interview sitting in the Jeep and then they stuck a GoPro inside and we drove around the block chatting.

The story is more than dash cams, it's should more people have them, and what does law enforcement have to say about it. I think one of the questions was have I ever considered legal action against someone for what happened and what I captured on the dash cam.

She was very nice, very excited, which I think is her normal state, and spent a lot of time with me including showing me around the station. I didn't even have to ask for a tour, she asked me.

Normally I don't like to go do things because they never meet expectations, this time expectations were far exceeded.

I'll remember that day for a very long time.

They are running the promo now. I caught it from a recording Friday morning. And I just saw it a few minutes ago on the FOX 26 weekend news.

I haven't seen the finished product so I can only guess how much of my interview survived the editing process, but the story will be on 4am to 10am this coming Monday (May 4th)

I'm assuming that means that it will be show a few times, or I guess it could be shown once during that time frame. Those are the hours of the weekday FOX 26 morning news.
