So I keep running into radiator problems. More so, I keep cracking them. Since I bought my XJ I've put 2 radiators in it, cracked my third and have only put 30,000 miles on the XJ in the 6 years I've had it.

Previous owner had 2 put in so it seems like something is causing the radiators to prematurely fail.

Any suggestions? Currently have a OEM radiator but wouldn't mind going aftermarket for a better built model.

I haven't seen this one yet. My dad was up at the cabin over the weekend and took the XJ to go get groceries and when he got back he said he noticed a coolant leak near the outlet. He also noticed about 1/2" of play in the radiator.

Matt made me get the rubber mounts that go in the bottom holes of the radiator tray and the pegs from the radiator go through. I never knew they were there. I think they have a tendency to stick to the old radiator when you take it out.

That and bad motor mounts/transmission mount may be the culprits.

Make sure the top ones haven't spat the stud out of the rubber, like mine had .. e.g.,
