I've gotten tons of comments on my Cherokee before, but never this. Today, a guy followed me into a store to ask me if I want to sell my Cherokee. I haven't thought about selling it, but it got me thinking. This guy is serious, and maybe I can get good money for it and buy a new Grand Cherokee. My kids are getting bigger and more room in the back seat would be nice.

Here's what I've got:
-2000 Cherokee Limited - In great condition for it's age - hence the complements - take a look at the picture.
-125,000 miles
-Power Leather Seats
-Overhead console with computer
-Key less entry
-Power windows and locks
-Factory tow package with installed brake controller
-ARB Front Bumper
-Warn 8000 winch
-On board air compressor with tank
-Factory off-road skid plates
-V8 Cherokee front springs & Off-Road Package Rear leafs
-Bilstein Dampers
-ZJ Rear Disk Brakes - with working ABS
-Brand new set of BFG KO2s waiting to go on

Mobil 1 every 4,000 miles. Mobil 1 ATF in the transmission and transfer case. Redline in the diffs. Hell, I even put Bosch Icon wiper blades on it. That's the kinda person I am.

Sooooo, what do you think it's worth? It would be really hard to part ways with it, but everything's always for sale.

Thanks for the input!!!

Where are you located? Clean title? Any rust?

With the mods/ brand new tires and considering you're in no hurry to sell, I would ask for $2-3k over KBB "very good-excellent" value. Curious as to other opinions though, I am by no means an XJ expert.

Here I'd say 4-5k is what they seem to be getting. BUT if your wanting to go off-road with your children I'd keep what you have. Way more capable and cheaper to build than a new grand Cherokee. Now if your just wanting to take them to soccer practice, then yeah sell it and buy a new gc.

I've had this happen to me too. But I work at a car dealership too. What I do is put an "I don't wanna sell it" price on it. If the guy is serious he'll pony up and negotiate or pay your price. I did this a few months ago, gave the guy a price and he damn near wrote me a check on the spot. I kinda panicked because I'd have to find another one!
