Can't get codes from jeep 1993 xj by turning key.

My jeep has started to buck and the check engine light came on and I tried turning the key to on not start 3 times and get the check engine to block to tell me codes but it won't and I can't find the obd1 hook up anywhere. How can I get codes or at least get it to show codes by flashing???

Could require between three and five dances of the key to get the codes. You must also complete the sequence within a few seconds.
