Cut and fold

I removed my rear bumper and side trim and found a lot of rust on the driver side.. I am building a new bumper and feel the best thing to do is remove the rust. has anybody done the cut and fold? any tips would be helpful..thanks guys

I think we all DNS up doing it at some point, only tip I have is to make sure it's sealed up good when your done!

I was going to leave the trim and make the new bumper sit inside of it but no point leaving the rust.
i just built a tire carrier bumper for my friends tj and of course i need one now!
