Hey guys,

Just wanted to introduce myself. I actually came here after finding a thread about the viper coil install that was written by cpttuna. I've been Jeeping for a few years now, and have had several XJs.

Regretfully I sold my last XJ, and have missed it dearly.

It's been a little while, but I decided a Cherocar was needed in my life, however I was surprised that the prices for them have jumped significantly in my area. So I purchased a used and abused 2000 Sport 4x2. Shortly thereafter I purchased a 2001, and for the greater good it gave what was left of its drivetrain so that mine could live a truly Jeep life.

Welcome to :xjtalk:!! This is a great place to get all kinds of information for your Jeep and other things! Feel free to post up any questions you may have there is always someone available to help you out. No question is a stupid question unless it isn't asked. Welcome again and how about some pics of your Jeep?!?!

Here's some pics of my Jeep when I first got it home, and the ensuing 4x4 swap.

Here it is shortly after the swap living life as a 4x4 like it should have been all along.

And here we are as a couple of days ago. She's been 4x4 for less than 3 months, and we've already tackled a winter full of ice and snow (including a snowpacked trip to Colorado). New sensors and parts galore. Now I can focus on making it the Jeep I want to make it.

Going some years back, here's the rig that is responsible for me getting into 4x4s in the first place.

It was a piece, but I loved it.
