This happened to me today traveling home from work at 60mph.. Local shops cant get it and I've searched the web only to find hundreds of them.. The question is which one do I need?
It's the slip yoke for the rear output shaft on the transfer case.

Right now I'm thinking the part I need is the rubicon 1822.
Anyone know off hand?

Xj spec
94 sport 4.0 np231 8.25 rear

I need to get this ordered tonight..
Thanks

Id say hit a local jy if you got one close. Get the whole rear driveshaft for quick fix and rebuld that one for a spare

That's the slip yoke, it moves back and forth on the spline, no bolt.

Ok here YA go. This is the rubicon express r-1822.

Just like any slip yoke. It installed in a few mins. It's a little longer that the stock and is designed for lifted vehicles. After the install I drove the Xj around and have noticed a smoother drive line. I know that most of the smoothness is from a new Ujoint but the old Ujoint was only a year old and I do recall having vibrations when it was installed..

Here's a video showing the new yoke with the old one.
