Really looking for a jeep Cherokee years 1995-2001. The lower the miles the better. Must be a daily driver! I have bought a couple and the next one I buy I am going to keep. Must be 4x4 ! Prefer good shape and mechanically good. Master Mechanic here, so don't try to play me and I wont play you. I think 2000 cash is completely fair to give for a jeep with 150xxx in great solid shape as I have spent less and got more.. Probably wont go above 2000. I AM willing to drive a couple states away for the right Jeep! I am in Prattville Alabama. I am willing to drive a max of about 32 hours round trip. Pm me with what you have and from there we can talk on the phone and hopefully meet and make a deal! Yes I will be on this site from now on!

You know about the issues with head cracking on the 2000 and 2001? I agree with you on the price. I think we paid $2450 for out 99 XJ about 3 years ago with 147k miles on it.

I would keep my eye on Craigslist. My son has picked up two TJs for a great price off it. But you have to be quick

If I find the perfect one. It'll be like a 97 with all bells and whistles. Im trying to find a decent jeep to sink about 4 or 5k into. I'm in talks with several people. 1 is a 01 but one is a 97 with 118k miles lol. might get this 97

some of the craigslist aggregators let you setup alerts for keywords. I'd do that for the areas around you that way you get a text or email when one pops up.
