shes the 44re if my home work is right ...97 grand with the 5.2 magnum 8.......was rebuilt a while back , has not many miles on her ,,,,is outta warrantee.....has not been cooked like last time ,,has not been drowned like another time :D:D

not selecting 1st on take off ...rest are sweet ...oil is like new ... has been sitting for a while ....could it be a solenoid ....or??????

good question .....tis the one in me wrangler which had 97 grand running gear 5.3 ltr .....might have to do some more wiki thing on the google ...hard thing is only a hand full got brought into new Zealand ,,,,so no spares plus I didn't do the swap over into barbie .....:o

97 ZJ.. where is the diagnostic connector? or better still what do they look like ,,,,trying to find on barbie......people seem to think in safe mould....need to plug in and find more info codes ....thanks

Not sure where it is going to be on Barbie, but the OBDII data port looks like this in the states. Unless they cut it out, it should be around somewhere. Is your check engine light hooked up?

They make you stick that under the dash by your left knee in the states

9/10 are on the driver's side way up under the dash. But that's in the states.... might check your passenger side
