looked at 3 this weekend but they all had multiple multiple issues. I don't mind doing some body work. I don't mind some interior work. I don't mind some mechanical work. but when the vehicle requires all 3 I cant do that!! It is for me wife and I will fix it up nice for her, but not at the expense of upgrading mine!!:rolleye0012:

I'm on my second xj now... Never had two at once though. I did have three Mopar minivans at once though. All the same the year, one from each division...

I have two XJ's at the same time... unfortunately the one had decided it doesn't want to play anymore.. so the only wrenching I'm doing on it, is to pull some parts for spares, some parts to sell off, and some parts that will go on my 97... then whatever is left will be on it's way to the JY unless someone locally picks it up for a parts rig or for a trail only rig... GL on the search, and look forward to seeing a second build to come!! Got to get the wife out helping you on the wrenching!!

I'm not married anymore. Girlfriend is supportive, but has no interest. I'm on my own with this one. My kids might help though!

Still lookin. There is a very real possibility that I hope does not move until after I can get to it on sunday. It is out of town and I just cant get there yet. It has been on CL since the end of January and he just reposted a dropped price. If it is supposed to be it will still be there. Wish I could go look tomorrow!

I have an xj and the girlfriend has a wj. I don't have the same pleasure wrenching on hers as I do mine, feels more like a chore rather than something I want to do.

Beats working on something else though. She had a focus before and I got about as much pleasure out of fixing that as I do cleaning up dog poop.
