Land anchor

a friend asked me to fab up a land anchor for his 84 toyota..we found a little scrap steel kicking around along with a case of beer and BOOM! we have a land anchor.
2x2x1/4 hss and some 1/4 plate is all it took

Seems like could be soothing that'd be good to have, especially if you are wheeling in areas that are lacking in trees and other objects to hook up to if you do get stuck..

it does not need to be made out of such heavy material but it was all we had kicking around

I have thought about having one, but now that I am where I am I don't think it would be useful. Soil has too many big rocks

Last time I used one I got banned from the Walmart parking lot. I didn't want my Jeep to drift away in high winds.

drill holes in it for less weight.. I love my ground anchor :D
