how would i figure the out the current lift height.

who ever did the lift put a new spring pack in the rear and then added coil spacer up front.well i want to get rid of the spacer and buy new proper height coils.

i'm ordering a new set of bilstine shock for all around the jeep.

i did measure the coil spacers and they are 3.5'' but is that what i would need in coils is 3.5?

just not a fan of spacers.thanks for the info

If you want to make sure that you only have 3.5" of lift before you order new coils you can use the measurements found here (http://www.xjtalk.com/showthread.php?t=8144) In the first post Steve (4.3LXJ) does a good job of putting in the measurements for stock going from the center of hub to the bottom of the flare for those who don't have any cut fenders... and from the hub to the first bend of the body panels above where the flares are or would be had they not been cut/modified/removed...

Does you Jeep have a TC drop installed?? Some need it some don't, but if you're having vibes, could be possible you might need one..

no drop.however i was just looking at the ass end and it looks like some 8 degree shims are under the springs.they are at a 1/2' thick or better.i may just get lucky and just need to remove them and or use a 2 or 4 degree shim.......

i hope.

it is a lot of shim for the lift it has.i had just noticed it this afternoon.looked at a SYE and TC drop kit, then it just hit me that the shims on the xj are monsters.

clean out the garage again this weekend and start shim swapping.
