Thanks for the welcome. We have a 97 XJ that we bought out of an impound yard that we are bringing back to life. We got her started and so far have changed the oil, complete tune up and have driven her around the yard that we are working on her at.

We have now started installing a Rough Country 4.5 X Series lift. We are working on the rear axle this weekend. This is a project that my son and I are building together. We are both noobs so we will have lots of dumb questions along the way.

Our goal is to have her completed and street legal by Memorial Day weekend so we can take up to an off-road park near Austin for the long weekend.
