Anybody ever done or thought about doing a wire tuck on their cherokee 4.0? Was thinking of ways to clean up my engine compartment. I don't off-road much and wouldn't in the condition my vehicle sits which is mint and low miles so immediate access to my harness is not overly necessary.

Thanks

Def wouldn't mind cleaning up the engine bay that is for sure.. Just not sure it would be good especially if you do wheel, when you have to try and troubleshoot an issue when you can't easily access the harnesses... not real sure how easy it'd be to tuck the XJ's harnesses.. You'd have to hide the PCM on some years, the PDC under the dash or something then reroute all the wires back under the dash.. it's already pretty tight under there.. so not for sure how you'd be able to do it.. but would love to see the engine bay tucked when someone does take it on..

I'm actually wanting to do the same thing on my Comanche. There is a rat's nest of crap under the hood that I could care less about.

See......

Pretty ugly. I think there are lots of add-ons that don't/shouldn't be in there.

I would say that the best wire tuck XJ I've seen would be the XJ-R race cherokee.
