Any of you fellers do any high stakes gambling? a.k.a. trade in the stock market?
Couple charts of wedges and triangles.

My concern with those two (and a few others with similar charts) is we come to a point where they break out of the triangle, likely to the downside as were coming off of 5+ years of bull market.
Below: The only one (of 10) like at the moment. top line still has a positive slope more likely to continue the uptrend than the top two. XLF

May have to do some digging for individual companies in a few sectors.
finally, main screen I use most frequently. 3 moving averages and a couple more indicators. red box = gap it will likely fill in the next week

I trade on e*trade. I've got a small portfolio that I've put together over the last several years. It's done pretty well until lately, I've gone from a high in the 80's% increase back down to today's closing at around 50%. I'm still very pleased with the overall performance.
This screen shot is about a year old I think:

I messed with penny stocks a little when I first joined the Marine Corps. Haven't done anything with it in years though. My share builder acct is closed. If I would have got into it a bit earlier I could have bought Ford stock when it was dirt cheap:rolleye0012:

I bought Ford the first time after the .gov bailout. I was impressed that they didn't take the bailout so I sunk a large amount of $$$ into their stock. I bought in at $1.3? if I remember right then I got a little spooked when it got around $4-$5 so I sold out at a very nice profit.

Once I get me some of this "money" everyone is always talking about, I will purchase some of these stocks too.

great trade! They're the only auto maker I'd ever consider owning.
I'm long LMT and will likely sell calls on it this week. Currently up 10% on it.
Sold XLU a few weeks ago. and RAI before XLU. made a little money on both. Healthcare is the only sector up today (flat as of 2:45 CST), so I'll prolly start there looking for a play
