Snowing in Jeep? Does that propane heater exhaust to the outside?

sounds like he may have enough ventilation going on there!

Hold your breath!
If ya quit breathing so much while driving, it wont condensate, and freeze into snow.
J.K.
I have no idea of the weather patters in other peoples vehicles...
I will say though, that after a mexican lunch, there's a 100% chance of gaseous fog inside mine. :D

You don't need to run the A/C in January.

My Jeep snowed a few times inside since the heat didn't work.. Haven't driven my current XJ enough with the snow outside on it to really see if it'll snow inside or not.. Def want to get the heat working again that is for sure...

Seriously though, if you are running a propane heater inside your Jeep that could potentially explain the snow. Whenever you burn anything, one of the products is H2O vapor which could potentially condense and then freeze if the conditions are right.

If the HVAC system isnt working the blower motor sucks the snow in and blows it out the vents, it will happen when the heat system is too cold as well.

it needs to draw air from the outside to heat, no heat = no melted snow:crazy:

That sounds right. Same thing happened to me the other day. Had it set on vent, watched the snow get sucked in the cowl then blown right in my face.

Pretty sure that brand of heater is a catalytic heater. Pretty safe to use indoors. They have low o2 cutoffs and other safety features. You can even use them in tents with some caution.

Not surprised it is snowing inside then. When fuel burns, it turns into CO2 and water. When it gets humid enough in there it will start snowing. Maybe you could take up indoor skiing

Used to "snow" all the time during winter in my heater deleted g body. Had the windshield resealed and put all new rubber on the windows and doors. Noticed i had condensation from body heat and heat that radiated from the exhaust. Hard to drive with clouds in the cab. If you think its the windshield you can remove all interior trim by the window (headliner included) and smoke test the seal. Incense will ork for this but the smell is another story.
