I made up a set of driving lights for a Christmas present for a friend. There was some interest in the lights the last time I made a set, so I have included some info and pictures. The housings are from Nothern Tool. I bought them about a year ago when they had a big sale for $7.50 each. The sealed beams are Wagner #4509. I got them on sale on the internet for $6.00 each. The relay($4.00) came from the internet- Waytek Inc. The wire, switch, fuse holder were all local(NAPA or Oreilly auto parts. The original tractor light is 35 watt. The Wagner is 100watt. Therefore the wiring coming out of the light must be upgraded. You can see in the one picture that the original wire is at best 16ga. I upgraded it to 12ga. The main fuse wire is 10 ga and the fused wire for the switch is 14ga. The lights are double grounded. I have done this project several times as evidenced by the enclosed pictures.
