Hey All I figured I would stop waiting to see y name pop up asking about my XJ here.. so here goes.
My XJ is a 00 Sport 2wd. I plan on doing the 4wd conversion soon. got 80% of the parts lined up. I went with 2wd as I wanted something that has not been abused, cut up, or has floor rot. I had to travel a bit to find what I wanted and found it... zero undercarriage rust few minor spots on top I am going to be sanding and repainting soon. minor work needed mainly the bearings n the rear axle but parts are not too expensive and I will be doing my own work. it came with 2" spacers in the front and 2" shackles in the back. probably not going to go much beyond 3" above that and adding 33's.
here are a few pix of it as it sits now.

Welcome to the site! I'm actually not too far from you, I'm down in Orlando. Love going up there and exploring the National Forest.

That is a nice looking XJ. Sounds like a plan. Hey, if you get time go to the User CP button at the top and click on it. If you fill it out it will help us answer questions for you.

Hey thanks guys. Yeah I got a great group of people here in Ocala to work with on this project. One of our guys lives eats and sleeps xj. So I am in good hands. Though even the best get stumped... that being said I will be communicating my build a lot. Fist thing I need to do before I get started though is replace the rear diff bearings....
But some of the things I plan on are JCR front and rear dyi bumpers, limited slip on the back, JCR side rear armor with the built in light boxes and the lower quarter armor and weld them together, lights, more lights, possibly the Napier v2 flares, more lights, decent affordable winch. Sure I have much more than that will happen....
