Noise just started

Noise started on my way home from work. sounds like my heater is about to stop working but im not sure. the sound when i turn on my heater is the motor gets extremely loud and sounds like it skipping or stuttering or something and when i turn it off everything goes back to normal. also my heater wont work on high never has.

Better check that heater motor. Turn it on and then check under the hood on the firewall. Put your hand on the motor and see if it gets real hot or you can feel the vibration
