It is the best looking out of all the other "toaster" vehicles (Element, xB, Cube, etc) but I still can't stand them :D

I'm actually a little excited to see this vehicle in person. It gives me something to sell besides the KL. Price point should be reasonable and I think it will be received well in the market.

I read an article the other day (and don't quote me exactly) saying that 1 in 4 vehicles sold in the US this year (or this quarter I can't remember) was a jeep...

I think it's rather cool. Considering the crap attempt by Chrysler with the patriot and that other small and hideous thing I can't remember the name of. This both looks better and has more features. That fold down front pass. seat would have been killer for my long board or a trip to the lumber yard.
I think It'll do well for single or young family active people that aren't really into offroading (ie Rubicon, Fordyce, etc). If it's reliable, not horribly expensive, and gets good MPG. I don't really see much wrong with it.
You really don't get much with new cars these days. Especially since cars are really disposable. Insurance would rather scrap it and body shops are a sh!t show. I think it'll sell well.

AMC/JEEP tried this back in the 70's. It didn't workout to well

Nick, that car is pimp! I love those. I can't ever seem to find one for sell though.

My first car was an AMC Gremlin. which by the way, seen more off road action then my Cherokee. For 2 wheel drive it was quite the capable machine. I would love to see it go against the new renegade at the Rubicon.

As we've been reporting on XJ TALK SHOW! Jeep is doing very well for themselves. So their market isn't us. :patriot:

That's a pretty high award... since as far as I know it's the only 4x4 in it's class... WTF?!!

There are a few small 'on demand' 4x4s on the European market.
While I do run these down for being built on the fiat platform, I seen a teaser release vid of the trail version at Moab, I have to admit, it looked quite capible and was managing some steep, smooth rock climbs.

If I was in the market for a cute ute, I would get a Renegade.

I actually like the looks of it better than than our "Asian" cousin the KL.
