I can't find a clear answer.. Like to make sure before I buy.

Will the 2001 stock xj wheels fit right on my 1994?

Yes, all XJs have the same bolt pattern.

Yes, as long as your still have stock axles on your XJ.

The stock wheels should all have about the same spacing, the spacing issue comes when you put larger tires (31"+) on the stock wheels. The tires tend to rub the control arms when turning.

I read in Autocar the other day that the new Land Rover Defender is likely to have the same 6 stud wheel PCD as Toyota so as to harmonise wheel compatibility in 3 world countries

Classic Industries produce a 15X 8" rally wheel with 4.5" backspacing-this enables the wheels to fit all Camaros 67-72, Chevelle 64-72 and Nova 64-72
The original came with 4" backspacing 5 stud with 4.75 PCD BS4
Global West recommend the following:
67-69 Camaro 16 X 8" wheel with 5" backspacing in conjunction with 245x50 x 16 tyres
Alec Runs 8.5" X 16 Vintage tyres with 4" backspacing
