Not really XJ related... But.. I need tap talk advice.

I'm new to this smart phone & tablet thing.. So can you give me the low down on the + & - s' of using this "tap-talk thing W/ the phone & tab on forums .
(If it matters the phone screen is around 3.75 x5.5 & 7" tab.):confused:

for me it gives an easier format to browse the forum than using the phone's web browser that has to load the entire page. It is a little buggy for me and doesn't have the best navigation in the world, but it works.

I still prefer using my laptop over tapatalk, but when I'm not on the PC, it works for me

Thanks, that is what I was wondering b/c mine is set up just like my lap/shop top PC.
So just to be clear l'd prob be better off w/out the "T-Talk" ?

There are two advantages to tapatalk. One is less data involved, so it loads faster. The second is that it is set up for a phone and takes some steps out of browsing the forum. So all in all, you save about 3/4 of the time over using the browser on the phone

We "may" be doing away with tapatalk in favor for a built in smartphone and tablet browser from the same people that wrote this software.

It's a bit of an investment but I think it will make the forum experience more seamless between platforms.

Also right now :xjtalk: doesn't get any revenue from tapatalk, they get it all.

I still need to read some reviews and make sure it works as promised.
