NOS: This "thing" shows to be mounted here (below)... Behind the front-bumper/horn-area in the fender-well. Really?

Does it not tuck up under the horn some how? Been so long since I've seen a stock one

The slot that is about even with the sway bar on the inside of the flap in the picture.

Did I get it right? Is the area circled in yellow suppose to be exposed?
