So I can't lift my jeep for a while. I was putting off new tires until I was able to lift it however that isn't happening this hear. I currently have (3) 235 75r15 Goodyear wrangler ~$70 and (1) NEW 235 75r15 Goodyear wrangler silent armor tire. Yeah why would anyone do this you wonder. That's the way it came when I bought it.

So I'm looking at the (4) 235 75r15 Michellen AX/2 tires and a steel wheel. I ran the LTX M/S2 on my 2008 Silverado LTZ that I downloaded for the jeep. Loved those tires. My plan is to put that new silient Armor on the new wheel and and replace the donut of death and have (4) brand new tires on the Jeep. The stock size is 225 75r15 however I havent notice any issues running the 235 75r15.

Thoughts comments?

Anyone near Southfield Michigan have a spare Jeep steal wheel taking up space somewhere?

I ran the LTX tires for awhile on my Jeep and so did my son. Awesome snow tires. I had another set of Swampers for wheeling so I could take advantage of both worlds

Sounds like a plan... I can't comment on the tires you are wanting to put on there as I haven't had any experience with them. The Goodyear Wranglers ($70 ea) aren't all that bad. Ran them for a couple of winters here and they handled fine.

Could probably fit 30s stock if your suspension isn't too bad right now. Plus you they wouldnt be so bad when you lift it, depending on how high you do end up going of course.

The plan is 3.5 lift (http://www.carid.com/1987-jeep-cherokee-suspension-systems/item-13616180.html?gclid=Cj0KEQiA-PGiBRDRz4jH9o39yZwBEiQAWCBZNXkGlUlXRCVSbaAD4gbx0Bw VqmNey3SVinOTJvpwJkUaAnWx8P8HAQ) and new wheels and tires. I'd also like to pretty much buy everything from JCR Offroad (http://www.jcroffroad.com/category/XJ.html)too.

Not on the XJ but on my s-10 blazer 4x4(1992) I ran general grabber a/t's in the snow here in chicago, they replaced wrangler 235/75/15 with the new 30x9.5x15, The wranglers felt rock hard but they were rt/s ones.
