What type of ass do i have :)

hey guys, another noob question here..i have a 01 xj and I was curious how do I know what type of rear end do I have? (dana or chy)

If you have ABS, then you have a Dana35. If no ABS, then you may have either Dana35 or Chrysler 8.25. Post up a pic if you're not sure. The 8.25 has a rather distinctive flat bottom on the diff housing.

Diameter of the Chry axle tube is also larger, 3" compared to about 2.5" of the Dana.
