So my exhaust smells rich. What could it be. Maybe plugs gone bad???? Or hum I'm at a loss.

Believe it or not, that smell is normal nowadays. Our emissions requirements and performance don't necessarily mean a completely clean exhaust. It only means that you have cleaner exhaust than a carbureted system. Also on startup, it will be rich and become leaner as the engine warms. I have that smell and I pass smog even in CA

Ok. The first start up always takes longer to turn over then it does any other time. So I was thinking that maybe my plugs are worn down so much it's not firings like it should.

Pull one out and take a look. Shouldn't take more than 10min and you'll know for sure.
