Re-assembling door-rods... Help!

1987 Cherokee/Wagoneer XJ ... Didn't expect this to be so challenging! Any photos/diagrams to get me out of this <door> jam?

Not sure if I have one with the rods showing. But anyway, what exactly do you need?

Well... After getting the door-locks/switch to work... I connected the actuator. From here... I'm stuck. Maybe the first question is... What order should I be connecting the rods? And since I didn't dis-assembly and the parts list doesn't depict it well... Any help on the shape/location/connection of the the two long rods would be helpful.

OK, I can get that for yoiu tomorrow. It just happens that I have to replace one of the little plastic clips at the door opener panel. Wife gets in and cannot get out :D

Here are a couple of pics. First is rods at inside door handle. They cross, upper becomes lower. The second is the best I could get of the connection at the latch

Tried to assemble the rods today... No-go. For example... Take one front long rod... Is it for the passenger's or driver's side? Then... Is it for the interior handle or the interior lock? I made a few educated guesses on these that helped a bit. But by far the most frustrating was direction the rod should go... The bends are so subtle I couldn't determine the direction. Thanks for listening to me vent! A buddy recommended trying Chilton's... Going to check now. Stay tuned!
