Do you use your mirrors or turn and look over your shoulder?

If it's just the Jeep I use my mirrors... but if I am backing a trailer the mirrors are too small and I will turn around and look out the back window.

I really starting using my mirrors after driving truck in the Army... I am sure other large truck drivers use their mirrors too out of habit, but what about the rest of ya?

mirrors. can only see so much when yer rubberneckin' out the back window!

current DD has really dark windows. Can't see squat out the back at night. So i usually roll the windows down so I can see the mirrors!

I always back into spots... and man do I miss the ease of backing my XJ even with it being lifted 7.5" and 33's... into spots compared to my 09 Ram QC... I was able to easily park my old XJ.. But I vote you just set it up bigger and better and just pull straight in run over whatever gets in the way.. then there is no need to use mirrors or look over your shoulder..

After 10 years working in my business, you have to back tons of all different kinds of cars into spaces every day. I use mirrors all the way.

Depends on the vehicle. My xj i do both. The mirrors more for telling width and rear window for clearing behind the jeep. Now, the one ton i primarily only use the mirrors. Two reasons... The rear window sucks for seeing out of. The dark tint and headerboard takes that option out of it. I personally can't stand dark tint in the rear for this reason, but it does have its advantages. Two, the mirrors are so flipping big i can see anything and everything. Although for those times when i can't see directly behind the vehicle i will either get out and check or have someone do it.

Sent via messenger pigeon - i talk, he types.
