Trouble starting and rough idle at times

My 2001 is starting to get temperamental with me, at times seemingly only when starting hot (that might be a red herring though) it will be a little tough to start and/or when it starts it has a very rough idle until I give it some revs. Where should I start investigating? The IAC and CCV's?

Yeah, I would start by cleaning that IAC

You should also check if there is any heat shield on the #3 fuel injector. There was a TSB for this to fix rough idle problems associated with heat soak.

That sounds like my exact issue, will check that out later. Will clean the IAC anyway once I get some cleaner as I'm sure it needs it after 14 years.

Also try insulating your fuel line, I had the same hot start issue and that seemed to help.

i had used header wrap. wrapped each injector and ziptied wrap on.
