Alright guys....so I will have some bucks to burn on a front bumper. I want a solid bumper with d tabs for sure. Would prefer a cool grill guard but not necessary. Trick is I only have amazon gift card for it. Will be about 6-700. I see a warrior product but the brush guard looks a little girly for my beast and can't find a bumper only with d-tabs. You guys know of anything else I am missing?

Do a search for "Cherokee front bumper" I pulled up several brands with prices from $340 to $959 for the Warn, all with brush guards. I didn't check specifically for D rings though. However I am sure the Ruged Ridge and Warn have them for sure

Or-fabs is suppose to be pretty nice. But like the Smittybilt you can't get brush guard type bars, only a small one.

I found a solid one I think. It is sold by nates 4x4. It is a boxy bumper with d tabs and a grill guard. It looks pretty sturdy and is priced right. T comes bare metal which is fine cause I would raptor line it to match the jeep. Anyone know someone who has this bumper setup?

I have heard smittys rust out fast. Not saying they do just have heard that. Do you have one or know anyone that has experience with one?

How about Dirtbound Offroad or a local to you, AJ's. I went with an AJ's bc I'm Iowa native. But the work is nice.

My dollars for the bumper will happen to be in the form of Amazon dollars. tightens up the options.

go back to nates 4x4. they have a front and rear combo for 500. can't beat that!

Also, I'd NEVER put a front bumper on without a winch mounting plate or the ability to add one. Just FYI

The Nates 4x4 bumpers are def nice looking bumpers... I'm sure there are many great deals ou can get for the bumpers, but with using the Amazon dollars, that def limits the options.. But there are some pretty good deals even through Amazon!!

I noticed the front n rear combo at nates. I like that they come bare metal too as I am going to weld expanded metal in the front bar space and then either raptor line or army green flat powdercoat

Don't have the smitybuilt but have seen a couple installed around here lately. They come with a bedliner type coating so don't see how they could rust faster than any other bumper

I have the Smitty on my jeep with the bull bar. They come with a bedliner coating of some sort on them. One bad salty Minnesota winter on it so far with no rust or anything coming through. They also have really nice attachment brackets that use the steering box bolts and brace way back up the frame. If you're considering doing a Durango steering box this would be the time to do it..
