Question on my new leaf springs

for these recently brand new. 3-4" xj leaf springs.
what's the flat leaf? over load?
can i remove it?
will i still have 3-4" of lift removed?
will the xj still b able to haul more than o.e. spec when removed?

Technically it is the second stage of a two stage spring. Yes you can remove it, but if you do you will not have the dame lift and will bend the center out of the spring. Better not to
