If nobody else has any in hand, the junkyard near me has 18 ZJs and 2 KJs right now. Prob would be a couple weeks before I have a free day to go pull them. You'd just need to pay for shipping plus the parts themselves, $7/backing plate and $15/caliper.

Haha, don't worry I won't forget. Will probably be first weekend of October. I'll PM for your phone number in case I have any questions. Will check the KJs first, I think I remember one having the rear axle removed last time I was there but I know they've gotten at least one new one since then. If no KJ, does it matter whether the ZJ has a D35 or a D44a?

A ZJ will not have a D44. If it does, it is a WJ, which has larger brakes but different bolt pattern you will have to deal with, but not insurmountable

My mistake. I thought I remembered seeing a D44a under the V8 ZJ I pulled my front springs from. That makes it easy then.

That is an easy one to make.

They did put the 44a in the ZJs. I have read they are the same but if you have the choice go for the 35. I have personal experience with that one so I feel better recommending it.
