I really am in a quandary here about how I want my interior to look. I am currently installing some WJ grey power seats. They are really cool and comfortable and since the material in my drivers seat is wearing out, then the time has come. And these seats recline so we can nap on long trips. But back to the question at hand.

As you can see, they are a dark grey, maybe a charcoal grey. In this pic you can see my current interior color

The tan color isn't going to cut it. So I am wondering what colors the new interior should be. I will also be installing the back seats, which are nicer and are split for convenience. I can get professional grade paint for vinyl to change it or get some console parts etc from the pick and pull. So what do you think. Grey console, or black to match the rest? Grey or black dash? Bezel will stay silver. The fabric panel on the doors will be colored black. Headliner is out and will be replaced eventually with black. Carpet I think will be replaced with black.

Opinions? :keegirl:

I gotta go with grey. I think all or most black would be too much. Everything would bled together. Plus things like screws are harder to find in black carpet. :D

Yeah, how much gray and how much black? I dunno. However my plans to get the dye for the vinyl collapsed with not being able to get it shipped to CA. Must have been one of those moments when our liberal assembly had nothing else better to do. But on a brighter note, the passenger seat is going in. Waiting for some parts, but progressing along.

Opinions on mixing & matching colors of interior with pics involved ? Is there a "man card" anywhere in the mix ?

Sorry but I couldn't resist ;-)

I wanted SEM brand. It is an outdoor, UV resistant marine dye.

That would hold up for shure. I just know about that other stuff from my daughters projects don't know how well it would hold up . I know some other parts have spray upholstery dye also

Thanks, but the problem is our CA laws. We seem to be worried about some terrorist attack with aerosol cans, but not a flood of undocumented drug cartel members with automatic weapons. We just cannot order that stuff on line and get it shipped across the state line
